Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Anthony Pullano (“AnyRoom,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of AnyRoom at anyroom.app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you’re authorized to bind it, and “you” includes that organization.
2. Beta service — provided “as is”
The Service is offered on an early-access / beta basis. It may change, add or remove features, have downtime, or contain errors. We may modify or discontinue any part of it at any time. You should not rely on the Service as your sole method of communicating with your clients.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. One account is for one person or organization; don’t share credentials.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive; infringe others’ rights; upload unlawful or infringing content; attempt to breach security, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits; or use the Service to send spam. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Your content & branding
You retain ownership of the content you add — your name, bio, logo, background images, links, meeting details, and similar (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, showing your branded waiting room to your clients). You represent that you have the rights to Your Content and that it doesn’t violate any law or third-party right.
6. Third-party meeting providers
AnyRoom is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoho, or any other meeting provider. AnyRoom provides a branded page that links to the meeting you set up on your own provider account. Your use of those meetings is governed by the applicable provider’s terms and privacy policy, and we’re not responsible for their services, availability, or conduct.
7. Fees
The Service is currently free during beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we’ll present pricing and payment/refund terms, processed through Stripe, and we won’t charge you without your agreement. Any additional billing terms will be incorporated into these Terms at that time.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the AnyRoom name and marks, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you any right in our intellectual property except to use the Service as permitted.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that meeting links will always work.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business, arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) US $100 or (b) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example, content licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Monroe County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to venue there — except that either party may seek injunctive relief where appropriate.
